Thai massage makes touch joyful to both the giver and receiver.
Imagine tai chi and yoga had a baby … and that baby gave massage.
Thai massage is a moving meditation for the person giving it and a transcendental experience for the one receiving. This healing tradition uses stretching and compression to promote circulation, flexibility and relieves pain.
… And it could be the thing that brings you and your loved one closer together.
In this workshop, you'll learn:
The basics of Thai massage
How to use your body to work on your partner (and save your hands!)
How to help soothe pain in legs, hands, neck and back
A brief routine you can modify at home
This work is done on the floor and clothed. Bring a thick comforter, blankets, yoga mats, and/or pillows to make your space comfortable. Wear clothing you can easily move around in, like you would for yoga or exercise (preferably longer pants).
